“And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams” [Acts 2: 17]..

The Year 2002 marked the turning point of my relationship with God when divine visions and dreams started flooding into my spirit. I was still in service, but it became clearly evident that God was preparing me for some challenging Christian tasks prior to my retirement the following year. However, I was not prepared and had no idea about the early retirement which came about as the result of the compulsory merger of banks in the year 2003.

Three successive dreams beginning and ending at the same predetermined stages of some structural progress of what appeared to be an institution originated in the vision of my head upon my bed. I was deeply concerned and shared these dreams with some associates whose interpretations were encouraging; and my decision to act upon them changed the course of destiny to the point where we are today, namely, the establishment of the CDM Academy International.

I moved by faith in obedience to what God showed me even though my finances were too insignificant to attempt the implementation of the enormity of developments I had envisioned in my dreams.

Progress was swift as God sponsored and progressively supported what he wanted to do through me. I am grateful to God who aided my obedience to act on his divine mandate; after all, they say, ‘it was just a dream’.

My late wife, Mrs Winifred Akuhwa, was actively supportive of the drive to establish and sustain CDM Academy International. She demonstrated her commitment to this task by sacrificing the comfort of our family house located in the famous Lekki Peninsular of Lagos State; authorizing its sale so that the execution of the CDM project could commence.

Beside this brave gesture, Mrs Winifred Akuhwa was actively committed to her administrative role as the Proprietress of the CDM Academy International until her demise on the 26th November, 2016 when she left us and this world to be with the Lord. May her eternal soul continue to rest in the bosom of the Lord until we shall meet to part no more.
