Do you allow primary school students into boarding?
Yes, we are currently accepting primary school boarders, but only over the age of seven (8+).
Do you have a day school?
We do not offer day school services for our main secondary school campus, but we offer day school services for our primary school and our affiliated campus, CDM premier college.
Do you accept students from countries other than Nigeria?
Yes we do, communications and transaction regarding international fees and payments would be handled by our director Emmanuel Akuhwa through +2348152000302. Preferable via messages (His line is available on most social networks).
What are the methods of payment?
All transactions made in Nigeria (in Naira) for CDM Academy international must be made into a singular account detailed on our application process page. Payments can be made via cheque, card or transfer (Please ensure you put the reference required to recognise your payment). All payments made outside the country should be made via Emmanuel Akuhwa (+2348152000302, available on most social networks). Day school students are required to pay their fees via a different account detailed on our affiliate institutions page.
When is your entrance examination?
Our entrance examination date is set every year usually in the first quarter of the year. The exact date would be posted on our important dates page when it is set. You could alternatively complete the entire admission process online following these instructions which is open all year round.
Do you go on international excursions?
Yes, we endeavour to hold biannual international excursions every even year. We plan to include national excursions every year in between giving every ward the opportunity to broaden their experience.
Where can I get an application form?
We have liaisons in Makurdi, Abuja, Lagos and Jos, if you are in any of these places and are interested in purchasing a form, contact our administrative manager through this number 08034330365 for more details. What’s your age limit?
Our age limit for the secondary school is 10 years old and boarding primary school is 8 years old.
How much is your school fees?
Please refer to our tuition page for all information regarding fees.
What subjects are tested on your entrance examination?
We test English, Mathematics and General knowledge for the Junior secondary school. We test Mathematics and English for the Senior secondary school to gauge their reasoning capacity.
What type of sports do you offer?
Football, Badminton, Table tennis, Handball, Volleyball, Basketball as well as various track and field events.
Do the girls shave their heads?
Whilst we promote uniformity, we allow the girls the liberty to style their hair with our in-house hair stylist according to the school’s list of acceptable hairstyles per term.
What’s the hairstyle for the boarders?
The same rule applies to the boys, they are at liberty to choose between specified hairstyles allowed per term with our in-house barbers.
Do you study languages?
Yes we do, we value the exposure and awareness that comes with learning languages and wish to expand our pool further, you can take a look at our current curriculum here.
Do you have electronic boards?
Yes, we have invested in a few of them to test the practicality of it before possibly switching to them entirely
Do you have alternate methods of teaching?
Yes, we offer multiple opportunities for our students to learn through out of class experiences.
Do you reveal the scores of your applicants?
No we do not, we alert them as to whether or not they have passed the examination. This process is done to avoid laxity or a sense of superiority/inferiority among our incoming students.

How safe is the location?
The question has been asked in recent times with regards to the Fulani crisis, but not only is the location of the school far from any hotspots previously involved in the crisis; we have hired well-trained security detail that patrol every inch of the school through the evenings and night. You can rest assured of your ward’s safety at our institution.
